Community Service Awards

Every year Longbenton High School, North Gosforth Academy and George Stephenson High School are each asked to nominate a pupil in recognition of their community service. These nominees, their teachers and parents were invited to a buffet supper and awards ceremony hosted by the Club when inscribed trophies were awarded to the school and their nominee. The nominees were also given a gift token.

This year Amy, Leia and Lauren were the nominees and they received their trophies and token from Councillor Wendy Lott, Chairman of North Tyneside Council ably assisted by her escort Jeanette. The Club was delighted to hear about the range of activities the nominees were involved in and their commitment and dedication to serving their school and community. We wish them well in their future career plans and volunteering endeavours.
